Going On A Bear Hunt

Going on a bear hunt in math we are learning about directions we listened to the story going a bear hunt  we picked out the obstacles in the story we then drew a map of the story  we had to carefully think about the story then we had to write the directions from the house to the cave we had to use are book to draw it in.

In inquiry we are learning about the design process or theory sometimes when you test it it doesn't work and you have to start at the begging again to see how you would make it better mrs mcg gave us a challenge we had to plan,design+build a straw raft to float with 40g of weight on it we could only use a meter of tape and 20 straws our raft failed because we didn't have any gaps for the air to go in we found it challenging because you had to keep going back and redesigning.

today in math we did a sheet in the sheet we had to add 2,4 to make 36 it was fun and hard.

In math we are learning about coordinates. We  learnt that you say the letter before the number. Our map was about the story. Little Red Ridding Hood. We  had to do 2 thing first we had to draw the pictures in the right coordinates. Then we had to write on the sheet were they were.

Personal and Private Information

Today in Cybersmart we learnt about private and personal information. We had to sort stuff in to a the category personal and private. Private is stuff you cant share with people and personal is stuff you can.

Some examples of private are don't take photos in the bathroom or bedroom. Here's a example of personal: you are allowed to share your first but not your last name.

For literacy I made a slide show about my Hero. I chose to do it about fortnite characters. The easy thing was writing down stuff and getting pictures. It was really fun writing about what i was interested in. im going to improve it by putting why i did it next week

furtune teller

Today for literacy we made instructions for a fortune teller it took us a while to make it was hard to write them here it is.

you'll need paper, fingers and a good attitude

 

1. Get a square piece a paper and fold it horizontal half ways then unfold tan again the oppisite way unfold again.

    2. Fold diagonally corner to corner and fold again the opposite way

(you should have a smaller square now)

3. Turn it over and do it again

4.and then fold it in half

5. Put your index finger and thumb in the pockets and push up.

6. Have fun!
